We stayed at Eden Gate Guesthouse for two nights. Lorraine and Roger were wonderful. Gave us information on what to do and where to eat. The location was wonderful for the going on Ulswater which was just short distance away. Will definitely stay there again in the future.

We have rated this B & B on its location, an easy walk into town and close to the M6. The room was comfortable and breakfast enjoyable, but I have to compare this to other places we have stayed and would only rate it as a 3 except for its location and free parking.

Our son is at uni in Edinburgh and we stay here as a half way stop. It is perfect. 5 mins from the M6, parking on site, a short stroll into town (which has a choice of eateries - we went to Salsa) we had the attic room sleeping 3. Clean, well decorated, comfortable, a blasting shower, tea/coffee in the...

Lady owner was so helpful when we notified her of our very late arrival. Room was excellent, comfy bed, lovely bathroom and lots of nice finishing touches like toiletries etc. Breakfast was fantastic and we really enjoyed our stay, can't wait to visit again. Thank you so much for making our stay so memorable.

Nicely appointed, comfortable bed and great breakfast plus the warm welcome made our stay here very enjoyable. Everything is solid quality from the bathroom to the dining tables; the breakfast was delicious. Plus it is a short walk to the city center. Penrith is the gateway into the Lake District. We would stay here again and recommend to others without...

We stopped in Penrith for a night with our 2+ year old daughter. I must say we ended up in a wonderful place and it is just 5 minutes walk from the main centre. Roger was extremely warm, welcoming and helpful. We booked the BB a couple of weeks back and I still remember requesting the owners to convert the...
