Just spent the weekend camping on this site in the fantastic Borrowdale valley with our older scouts - who were completing an expedition. The owners and team who run the site could not be more helpful to us, the facilities were clean and tidy, with the toilet block thoroughly cleaned daily. Whilst the site was very busy (both fields) as...

I have been staying at this site once a year for 12 years now. It is a good basic camp site that is unrivalled in its surroundings. Now I stay with my three kids aged 10 and under, they love playing on the rocks and hills. Although scary for adults, they always seem to play safely and with other kids....

My partner and I picked this campsite for our bank holiday weekend away. We arrived at the campsite on Friday afternoon, the campsite was very quite with around 10 tents on both fields. We decided to stay onto of the hill between both and loved this little spot as we was by our self. The campsite is very close to...

It was easy enough to book through the insideout website, and all of the dealings with Simon were simple enough. Although we never met he was very friendly when emailing with any questions. The site was easy enough to find and the yurt was ready and waiting. It was clean, with enough beds to comfortably fit 4, and additionals if...

This is not a campsite, it is a field where you can pitch your tent. The grass is long and the ground is rough and stony. Access is along a rough track. Facilities are basic and in peak season inadequate. The toilets are a tricky walk - if you are young old disabled or it is dark. The showers are...

Well my boyfriend and I wanted to stay in the lakes for the weekend and came across this campsite on google, not really expecting much we drove down to hallowsfarm outside Keswick. One word I can describe the scenery on the way is wow! We drove up a tiny lane to the campsite and were greeted by a lovely man...

What a beautiful little campsite! We stayed in a yurt hosted by inside out camping for our honeymoon and had a great time. The campsite is in an amazing location in the heart of borrowdale and is so peaceful. Next to a river leading to derwent water and 4 miles from Keswick, it's perfectly located. The nearest pub is a...

After negotiating a very bumpy bit of road you find yourself in the most beautiful of locations. The yurts are great, really cosy with everything you need. Very close to the river which is ideal for paddling in. Other campers pitch up alongside so there is always something going on. The ducks visit every morning and evening to collect all...

We booked this wonderful place at the last minute and were fortunate enough to get a room. We found it was very friendly and on arrival Laura not only made us a cup of tea but we got chocolate cake too!! The room was fantastically traditional and very comfy, with tea & coffee making facilities, an on-suit shower room and...
