We have been staying at Carolyn's for over 20 years and it is always perfect. It is an ideal base for not only exploring Keswick, but exploring the other lakes as well and with parking on site it is totally convenient for everyone. Over the years we have stayed in every room there and have found them all spotlessly clean...

Carolyn really makes this B&B a pleasure to stay in. She is a friendly and attentive host who responded quickly to our enquiry about availability. She is also a wealth of information on the local area, particularly walking and cycling trails. The room was a little dated in terms of decor, but clean and well-equipped with a good hot shower...

We were in the 1st floor generously sized ensuite room facing the street and had a wonderful, relaxing stay. Very comfortable, wonderful service, great full English breakfast. Highly recommended and would gladly stay again.

Carolyn is lovely, really friendly, breakfast was always delicious, the room was superb, so much space, the view lovely and the location is perfect, just a few minutes from the centre of Keswick. Having a parking space was a huge bonus. Will be back!

Stayed at birch how twice now and both occasions were an absolute joy. Carolyn is a fantastic host, always smiling (living where she does may have something to do with it) and warm, informative and a great cook! The rooms I stayed in were doubles but thankfully accommodate singles, both rooms are incredibly comfortable, warm, great views and all you...
