We had a spacious room with sitting area and private balcony. The bathroom was also large. Bed very comfortable. Sheets and general cleanliness of a high standard. The Breakfasts were very good, cooked to order and served on a hot plate , which we love. Restaurant food a bit pubby but ok in general. Parking was a bit of a...

My wife and myself stayed for our wedding anniversary. What a fantastic hotel ! Everything was good , the whole experience was faultless. A big thank you to all the staff for there effort especially to the chef and his team who made us probably one of the best meals we have had in a longtime. I think the owners...

We have stayed in all the Keswick hotels owned by this company over many years. Our first visit to Inn on The Square was in February and although we enjoyed our stay we thought it was over priced as the room was tiny. We did enjoy the atmosphere in the bar and decided return for a pre-dinner cocktail on our...

This is a very good place to stay and eat in Keswick . The Brossen Steak Restaurant serves super steaks and delicious lamb ( I have also had fish on previous visits and that was good too ) The hotel staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are comfortable and well equipped

Great location, and perfectly good hotel with modern design and friendly staff. The prices, though, are extravagant, and the hotel lacks the kind of finesse that justifies spending upwards of £250 on one night's accommodation at peak times. Wifi is patchy, restaurant ran out of basic items at breakfast (no yoghurt), rooms are very small. I'm splitting hairs because I...

We ate in the Brossen Steakhouse which was very good. A big Thank You to all the hotel staff. You were all were hospitable, friendly chatty and welcoming, and work extremely hard. We...

3 Had a meal here on a busy Friday evening. Our meal was lovely. 2 shared a chateaubriand which was beautifully cooked the other was salmon with a prawn mousse. The mousse was a bit odd - more mush than mousse - but the salmon was lovely. Deserts were delicious too. However, avoid what they describe as coffee - it...

Stayed here for 3 nights for my husbands 80th birthday. I know Keswick quite well so booked the best hotel, (allegedly) in the town. I booked a Herdwick room, bed and breakfast and garage parking at an extra £8 per day. It was tea time when we arrived and when I pulled into the garage it was clear that there...

The hotel has been completely refurbed. We had a Herdwick room at the back of the hotel with lovely views of Skiddaw. The room was very clean and modern, every attention to detail had been met as far as we could see---couldn't fault it. We stayed on a dinner bed and breakfast rate and the food was absolutely lovely, good...

Stayed here for a one night deal and it was great! D B&B was a bargain. Rooms are very nice - very quiet. Next time we would try and get the larger room but for one night it was fine. Food was very nice and breakfast was plentiful. Cooked when ordered which was lovely. Looking forward to staying again.
