My husband and I stayed for 3 nights in early November and felt as though we were one of the family straight away. The hotel is spotless, very warm, and tea, coffee and biscuits were replenished every day. The breakfasts were excellent - the hardest decision was what to have each morning. The staff are so so friendly and welcoming....

First class in every way. The room was large, well-equipped, warm and comfortable. Breakfasts were excellent. Owners and staff uniformly delightful with nothing being too much trouble. We'll be back DV.

The Lake District is a place of magnificent natural beauty; The Grange complements that majesty with accommodation of taste, class and old-fashioned friendliness. We’d visited The Grange a few years ago and vowed to come back soon. Sadly life got in the way and it took 3 years to get round to a return visit. On booking there was a...

Clean, beautiful house with lovely gardens, beautifully decorated, and friendly helpful staff. Great breakfast. 10 mins walk (nice) to the town centre. Easy car parking. My wife and I can't fault it. Stayed two nights.

Loved this hotel. Fantastic breakfasts, beautiful location, lovely walk down to the town, great view to the front of the hotel. Would recommend to anyone staying in the Lakes area. We loved being in a quieter area, but it's an easy drive to all the popular spots.

We stayed at The Grange for a week earlier this month, four days with a small party from our local rambling club in Northern Ireland and the remainder exploring Keswick and recovering after some strenuous hill walks. Room 5 was terrific with windows on two sides offering splendid views. The canopy bed was perfectly comfortable with good quality pillows. The...

Really lovely B&B. Very helpful welcome upon arrival, rooms were beyond expectation, even though I'd studied the website. Space to put out both suitcases, two nice comfy chairs around a table made the room very comfortable. Breakfast was top notch, and well worth the award they have won. Mark booked us restaurants for Sunday and Monday night, really helpful service...

We have just returned from a fantastic weekend in Room 3 at this beautiful guest house. The views were wonderful to wake up to after a great sleep in the lovely comfy bed. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful with a good choice from both the hot menu and the buffet selection and set us both up with plenty of...
