We visited with a walking group of 13 and the service we received was fantastic. Hotel spotless, comfortable beds, good showers and great local sourced food for breakfast. The hotel is in the centre of Keswick in a quiet street but handy for shops & restaurants. The hosts, Russell & Marie were friendly & looked after us very well with...

My room was very pretty and the bed was very comfortable after a day on the fells. The breakfast was well cooked with great local ingredients. The hosts made me feel very welcome and interested in my plans - great when you walking solo in the Lake District.

Lovely room, excellent breakfast, very friendly hosts. Location is perfect for a walking holiday around Keswick, but this hotel offers a real bonus in food and hospitality. I recommend Edwardene to anyone who wants a stay in beautiful Keswick.

We visited this hotel last week and had a really good stay. The owners are extremely welcoming and friendly, breakfast was excellent and the rooms very comfortable. Parking is on the street adjacent to the hotel and we got parked easily. The location is close to the town centre, giving access to the many shops, restaurants and cafes. You will...

Friendly hosts, comfortable room (Lark), great breakfast. The welcome was exceptional, the room, very well appointed and the shower superb. I did not use the TV or the toiletries provided but - they were there! I did use the bed - comfortable, sufficient pillows but a duvet a bit too warm for me (I'm 4.5 TOG at home) and the...

I stayed in a single room for three nights- the room was lovely; everything well designed- stylish décor, comfortable bed, good shower. Unlike many single rooms, it did not feel cramped at all. Marie and Russell are welcoming hosts and you feel that nothing is too much bother for them. The breakfasts were superb- cooked to order with good quality...

I've stayed a number of times over the years. How they keep improving is a mystery, but they do. Great hospitality that is genuine and makes staying here like being at home, in fact you get so well looked after it is hard to leave. Very comfortable rooms and lots of hot water after a day exploring. Ideally base to...

Stayed two nights for the film festival in Linnet room. Great hosts who go out of their way to ensure you have a fantastic time. Everywhere is spotlessly clean but comfortable as well. Beds are very cosy. Breakfasts are the best!!

My husband and I have been to this hotel quite a few times and each time it's even better than ever. The owners Russell and Marie are so welcoming. Any information about walks, entertainment or anything within their remit they will get this for you, nothing is a trouble. Even on leaving the hotel it's so nice to be waved...
