Had an overnight stay here. Lance was the perfect host, friendly and attentive. Our room had everything we required including tea making facilities, bottled water etc.and most of all,a comfy bed.We were provided with a good breakfast and all this for a very reasonable price.Would definitely stay here again.

Warm welcome from Lance, helpful and full of information about the a\rea. Room cosy and comfortable, coffe and tea available in room with nice touch of bottle of water as well. Breakfast to die for and set me up for the day, well cooked with a nice choice of options. 5 minutes walk from town centre, just over 10 minutes...

Stayed for a couple of nights between Christmas and New Year. We received a warm welcome from Lance who provided all of the information we needed and showed us to our room, Derwentwater, a large en suite superior on the second floor. It's large enough to put a cage up if you wish to leave the dog in the room...

I have just stayed 5 nights at The Littlefield Guest House which was very enjoyable. Lance provided great hospitality and is able to give guidance and advice about walking ideas, places to visit and availability of public transport. Breakfast was comprehensive, with a choice of cereals and or a cooked option. The guest house is a brief walk to the...

Excellent little guesthouse, Lance made us feel very welcome and he was always on hand to give us advice on where the best places where to visit. Room was very clean and had all the facilities we needed. Bed was very comfortable, and the full English breakfast was delicious. 10/10 would definitely go back.

Lance gave us a warm welcome and we felt at home straight away. The room was comfortable and a full English breakfast set us up for the day. Only a 5 minute walk to get to the very centre of Keswick or the Theatre by the Lake. Lance was always on hand for advice on places to go or eat....

My boyfriend has stayed here a couple of times and always been well looked after so when we signed up to the 10 in 10 challenge with friends last weekend, this was the first place he tried (and succeeded!) to get a reservation in. In common with most guest houses and self catering places around Littlefield, the parking is on...

Had a great time at Littlefield. Super-friendly place and good location for town and hiking. Nice rooms, comfortable beds, good hearty breakfast. Added bonus right opposite a launderette so really useful for washing lake-wet and hiking stuff. Will stay here again for sure

I have already booked my return stay to this guesthouse because it made such a convenient, cosy and welcoming base for fell walking. Lance has completed the 214 Wainwright peaks in the Lake District and is an excellent source of information and inspiration. Full English breakfast, toast, cereals (with stewed and fresh fruits, yoghurt, juice) and plunger coffee was plentiful...
