We had a very comfortable 1 night stay here. The room, although a little dated, was fresh & spotlessly clean. The owners were very pleasant hosts & couldn't be more helpful. First class breakfast with plenty of choice, was only let down by the absence of gluten free bread. (just buy a sliced loaf & freeze it,, easy). The guest...

Stayed here for a weekend break with my husband. Very warm welcome when we arrived, our room was excellent. The breakfasts were excellent with a very good selection, the cooked breakfast was really tasty and sets you up for the day. Location is excellent short walk from the center of Keswick. Would highly recommend it and would definately stay here...

In a decent location close to Keswick town centre. Everything clean, quiet and what you should expect. Breakfast was very good and a variety was availablr, although the only critique of the Winchester would be the narrow breakfast time 8:00 to 8:45am and the pokey set up for the juices, cereal, etc. Fair enough if guests are over doing it....

Stayed here before and would highly recommend to anyone. Dawn and Ken cannot do enough for you. Plenty of information of where to visit and where to eat. The best breakfast you are ever likely to get, it really sets you up for the day. Great location, not far from all the amenities that Keswick has to offer. You won't...

Stayed 18th to 20th August, welcomed with open arms, very friendly hosts, room was very nice, smelt lovely, all amenities as I'd expect at a B&B, very nice cooked breakfast along with cereals, yoghurt and fruit. My only criticism and it is only a small one was the bed base creaked every time I sat on it so was a...

Very well maintained room with a drying room if you're a walker and you are likely to get wet. Superb breakfast, the best I've ever had anywhere! Quiet location but close enough to the town centre and the nearby fells to be convenient.

Dawn and Ken are splendid hosts, run a lovely B&B, have an excellant knowledge of the area and its attractions, we stay with them every year for the Keswick mountain festival, we wouldn't go anywhere else! Coming back to the Winchester after a long mountain day is pure heaven you are so well looked after. Go there or be square!
