I was able to make a last minute decision the night before going over the lakes for a walk with my Large GSD ( Bross ). I found Larry's Lodge B abd B advertised as dog friendly. They had a single room I was requiring and explained it was compact with no ensuite but had private facilities on the landing. That...

This B&B was spotless and the breakfast delicious with homemade bread and marmalade. Sue and Dave are so friendly and accommodating. Location is perfect. Can't recommend this place highly enough. Will be checking my diary to plan next trip.

A warm welcome and relaxed approach throughout despite a very much last minute booking and a rather slow departure on our part. Finding dog friendly accommodation is always top priority for us when staying away from home and when this proves to be extended by people who truly love and understand dogs, it is a great bonus. Dressing gowns available...

Only spent one night at Larry's lodge on our way from Sussex to Scotland. Larry's lodge was chosen because they are dog friendly, the owners having trained many guide dogs for the blind themselves. We had a warm welcome from both Dave and Sue who showed us to our rooms, we had our teenage son with us with a seperate...

We have just returned home from a 2 night stay at Larry's Lodge. 2 adults, 1 teenager and a springer spaniel. The single room for our teenager was great as it had it's own bathroom and separate shower. The rooms were very clean & comfortable, with the usual hot drinks tray. (A must after a long walk on the fells)....

One of the only b&b's that was the same standard as a hotel, everything good quality and very well presented. Enjoyed the stay thoroughly, will definitely recommend. Very welcoming, Dave and Sue would happily do anything to make our stay great. We have stayed in many places that are dog friendly and i can honestly say this was spotless. A...

I arrived at the guest house tired from a long day's cycle I had just completed on a 14-day charity ride from John O Groats to Lands End. I only had one requirement - that I was able to access my first Open University tutorial for an hour using the wifi. I was told in no uncertain terms that I...

Thank you for taking the trouble to do a review. Your rudeness and arrogance was only surpassed by the obsessive manner you conducted yourself on our doorstep. Within seconds of your arrival on our doorstep, you started to dictate the terms of any stay with us. We tried to tell you that we did not have a room available and...
