The room cleanness is fantastic... considering it's a room for people with dogs ! Food is as usual outstanding so it is the stay at place for dog owners willing to find a peaceful place...

Stayed at Mary Mount again for a long weekend, totally relaxed welcoming environment and the view from the room was awesome. Great food, good selection of wines and beers, roaring log fires, owners on site paying attention to every detail and good company. It does not get any better. Booked already for next visit can not wait.

We stayed at the Mary Mount with our small dog, we were in a room in a cottage at that back of the hotel. It was very pleasant ( never smelt doggy) and had doors onto the garden so could just open these to let the dog out for wee's.The main hotel was very comfortable with great views of the...

Called in as part of a walk around Derwentwater. Place is very walker friendly with a lovely real fire. Enjoyed watching the birds out of the window on the feeding stations. Lovely scones. We are really tempted to book a long weekend break at the hotel next time we visit Keswick. Ideal spot for exploring the area.

Just returned from a 3 night stay at this truly wonderful hotel. Looking at the odd bad review, I can only conclude they have been written by rival hotels! Location is amazing. Views are incredible. Food is to die for. The staff are some of the friendliest and most hopeful we have ever come across, and we are very well...

A good stop for lunch, if you are walking around the lake. Cosy dining rooms(one with dogs allowed), there was an open fire, a tasty lunch menu, a choice of good beers and very friendly and hopitable service.

Midway point around Derwentwater this place is always good for a welcoming stop. Called in at for a late lunch on New Years Eve and probably had more than we wanted as we had to complete the rest of the walk. I had the steak in a hot bun with a side salad and chips whilst my wife enjoyed the...

Called in here on a circular walk of Derwentwater, made most welcome even though we were wearing outdoor dear inc muddy boots. Did not sample the food which looked excellent but enjoyed a very good pint and bowl of chips. Warm, comfortable surroundings and pleasant ambience.

This is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. Hotels allow dogs, but there are dog-free rooms, so I would recommend ringing the hotel and asking for a dog-free room, if you have allergies or for religious reasons. I was given room 32, which was spacious in the new block, ample free carparking and nice walks directly from the hotel....
