we were rather disappointed by this place and were sorry we had booked two nights. The best thing was the location, right on the hillside with woods, stream and footpaths on the doorstep, easy access to Keswick for pubs too. Accommodation was rather twee - lots of rather tired looking artificial flowers upstairs, tiny bathroom. No internet. Downstairs had been...

Linda, we don't generally respond to reviews on here but in your case will make an exception as we also were sorry you had booked at all! I will agree with you that we are in a wonderful location, quite idyllic in fact; wonderful views from all aspects, quiet apart from the occasional moo from the cows or cockerel crowing...

A lovely welcoming break on a working farm. Home from home all mod cons and a very friendly and welcoming host Hazel. A choice of B&B in the farmhouse or choice of 3 self catering cottages which are converted milk parlours. Even tho it's on a farm, you are only 10 minutes walk from town. Also an added bonus of...

Excellent location, very friendly, very clean and a good breakfast. Also great place if you have a dog or kids or both!. Very easy to walk into Keswick but not to close to be noisy. And very close to the bottom of the path to Walla Crag.

Great place to stay if you are wanting to visit the Keswick area. Hazel always makes us feel so welcome and we love staying in their self-catering units. An ideal base for a holiday in the Lake District, there's so much to see in the area. A great location - 10-15 minutes walk into the town centre and on the...

Arrived very tired and Hazel made us feel very welcome. Woke early to walk the dog and took in the breathtaking scenery at the stone circle - truly memorable. Good value room and nice breakfast - recommend this guest house - very comfortable and down to earth.

Arrived at Springs Farm Cottages ( stayed in Castlehead) and were really pleased with the idyllic location. Enjoyed a quick cup of tea in the new cafe and then made our way down to our cottage we had booked for 3 nights. The owners had been called away for the day so just let ourselves in. We were greeted by...

3rd time i've stayed at springs farm. Always found the place clean and tidy and cosy. The cottages are great value for money for the location and the views you get. Owners are very friendly/helpful. They have just opened a cafe which serves fantastic food at a reasonable price. Looking forward to my next trip up there in August

We have stayed at Springs Farm on numerous occasions and always found the place clean and tidy. Hazel, mine host, is always on hand and willing to provide assistance when needed. The cottages and the B+B are well worth the money and an added bonus of a short walk in to Keswick all goes to make an ideal spot to...
