It was a quiet area, but the hotel was lovely. It had plenty of easy free parking the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a room on the bottom floor at the back so was very quiet. The food was excellent worth the trip there and service good too. Will go back even just for the food.

Stayed one night whilst on a business trip, very good location and easy to find. Hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful, they made you feel at home. Food was excellent for dinner, well cooked and large portions, I thought good value for money. Breakfast was also very good and freshly cooked. Would...

Very expensive for sandwiches. Pretty much £20 for 2 sandwiches and 2 teas and the sandwiches were no better than what you would get from a Supermarket for between £1 and £2!! Won't be using again for business meeting

We stayed just one night so we could attend a party an old friend was having in a function room at the hotel. (Drinks prices were very reasonable). We paid for a room in the middle of their grades. A warm welcome on arrival, very clean and quite modern. Large bed. Decent car parking. The hotel is situated very close...

I stayed here a few months ago for a wedding. The hotel itself is clean and a great place to stay for a night. Huge breakfasts and lovely location. What I was most impressed with though was the lovely staff throughout the trip. Especially a lady called Wendy. I left a necklace at the hotel which was very special to...

Stayed here after a private function. Good food, especially puddings, well served. Good choice for breakfast, relaxed atmosphere. Room was a good size and spotlessly clean. Nice, friendly staff, all round good experience. Not cheap, but pretty decent value. Blend of old and new building, very well done. We will visit again.

The location is very convenient being right next to motorway exit - but far enough away to seem very rural. Staff were excellent throughout, from reception to bar staff to waiting staff. Room was quite big and comfortable. I guess I had one of the older rooms, so no flat screen TV and bathroom was a bit tired in places....

Ideal stop over for work but I booked with some trepidation, unsure whether it could be a BIG mistake.............which it wasn't. Easy parking with a huge car park. Simple check in by a very friendly and pleasant lady. Room was easy to find. Must have been refurbished fairly recently as it was pristine. All furnishings were of good quality. The...
