My wife and I stayed here for 3 days and planned to explore the south lakes. We'd stayed before, so knew what to expect at killington lake. It is a basic hotel, with standard facilities and attached motorway services. Our room lacked a sofa the other rooms had or even a couple of comfortable chairs to use. Towel rail didn't...

Comfy bed, loads of hot water, warm. No frills but exactly as we needed for a good night's rest and quick getaway in the morning. Pity we could not use the "free WIFI" . Objected to the utterly intrusive questions required to log on. Not necessary and very suspicious.

Booked into this hotel for 2 nights while we were down in the area visiting the RSPB reserve at Leighton Moss, which was only 14 miles away. The hotel was warm, clean and had everything that we needed for a comfortable sleep, and overnight stay. Camilla the receptionist was very helpful and had good knowledge of the area. The beds...

Have stayed in numerous Days Inn hotels before and this was no where near the standard of others. Situated in a service area off the motor way it has no in house eating facilities so you have to eat breakfast in the service Cafes next door. Downstairs where our room was the corridor smelt damp and musty. However, we did...

I have been to this hotel before but I'm happy to report that there has been a significant improvement from the previous visit the room was really nice, the bathroom was clean and tidy and the staff were very helpful and considerably more cheerful, would look forward to returning, it's also in a fabulous location within the lakes, what's not...

Check-in was quick and painless - the receptionist was friendly and efficient. The rooms were basic but a plus was plenty of complimentary tea and coffee! One of our rooms was a three-bed occupancy which had been set-up beforehand: it consisted of a double-bed, a sofa bed and a camp-bed. The decor and furnishings are in a need of a...

This hotel is what it is. A place to lay your head for the night. We tried in vain to get a hotel on our way back from Scotland. So we tried this hotel on the services at junction 37 on the M6 southbound. The room was clean but basic and with a slight musty odour. The window sill was...

This is a High Way hotel hence it is the best place for people travelling by road. We reached Oxenholme by Train hence we had to spend a lot to reach the hotel by Taxi. Otherwise the place is beautiful with the lake besides it. Nice and calm place to relax and enjoy nature.

Days inn is a convenient , no-frills, and inexpensive stop-off point on the M6 when you're travelling south from Scotland to London. The rooms are adequate and comfortable without any extras. There are coffee/tea facilities in the room but little else. No extras in the bathroom (soap is from a dispenser). There are no refreshment facilities at the inn, although...
