I booked 3 rooms at this guest house, for 3 reasons. They offered a double and 2 singles which was what I needed. The price was reasonable. And it got good reviews. We had stayed in a cottage for a week and were tagging to 2 nights on to the end of our holiday to make it last a bit...

I stayed in August and booked a single room for 2 nights. I booked directly with the owners and enjoyed good communication. On arrival there was parking and I was made to feel very welcome. The guest house is opposite Kendal college and only 10 minutes walk from the town centre and 20 minutes drive to the Lake District. A...

Standard B&B, clean and tidy but a bit dated. Private parking was a plus. Sue was a friendly host. Only sugary cereals available if you don't want a fry up. A lot of stairs.Ten minutes walk from town centre

A great little B&B about one mile from the town centre. The owners are very nice and look after their guests well. I was in a single room which was quite small at the top of the hotel, facing the road. It was a bit noisy with the window open. The WIFI signal was nice and strong but it did...

Arrived friday evening for a two day break. Sue welcomed us and showed us where to park the car . The room was an en suite double on the ground floor, it was absolutely spotless. The breakfast was lovely. I would definitely stay here again. Great hosts and a friendly atmosphere and excellent value for money.

We arrived Saturday evening and found Sue waiting for us. The place is cosy and typical but Sue and Andrew treat their guests well. They were very accomodating in changing our room for a better one after the first night Andrew gave us a few hints on where to go to see the best of Lake District and our only...

Just off the centre of the town, rooms are comfy and Sue and Andrew were excellent hosts. Very good breakfast included in the cost which started the day off well. Only a 10 minute stroll to the town centre.

The hotel has a very pleasant atmosphere. We were greeted by the male owner who explained how the hotel works and I was very impressed with the flexibility of the all-day breakfast. The owners were also particularly welcoming at breakfast time. I also slept very well. So, all in all we had a great time and would highly recommend this...

The Sundial is very well located particularly when visiting the Lake District from the South. Comfortable, very clean and cosy. Relaxed atmosphere. Thanks for making our weekend very reasonably priced and enjoyable. Will definitely visit again.
