The Gilpin Bridge is part of the Robinsons Brewery group and serves some nice real ales and has a pretty good menu/chef too. The rooms are small but clean and tidy with everything you'd expect to have. It's not obvious from the road (A590) but it's very close and so very convenient. Perhaps the Brewery should invest in better signage.... More

The Lytham St Annes Choral Society performed at the Cartmel Priory Evensong at 5.30 and needed somewhere to eat before returning to the Fylde. There were 48 diners each with a different choice to eat for a 3 course meal ! Could have been a nightmare to organise but the Catering Manager and the Choir Chairman organised what was a... More

Been a few times mainly because it's handy off the A590 and they serve all afternoon. The room always seems a bit cold, the food is a bit better than a chain but still not great. My prawn cocktail was OK but when finished a watery mess in the bottom and my wife's jacket potato didn't have so much a... More
