This. Is a very reasonable bed and breakfast 15th century coaching inn. There's a good choice of real ales and generous portions of home made food and with it's open log fire and dog friendly atmosphere this is a great place to relax after exploring the wonderful scenery round hawkshead. The staff and owners here really make you and your...

Wow you want amazing food a Japanese Speaking scouse landlord this is the place. The food is amazing and the Mushrooms with pepper and blue cheese sauce is out of this world xxx Hawkshead is an amazing village maybe the best village in the lakes to visit as is historical value and well kept charm makes this place so special.

This pub is just want you want from a pub in the lakes, warm and cosy with proper pub grub! Food is excellent and the most reasonably priced of the four pubs in Hawkshead. Very friendly and welcoming staff.

This place is a really comfy pub to drop into for a good hearty plate of food, the home made steak pie is really tasty and you get a big enough portion of it as well. They have a good range of ales and the staff are chatty and friendly.

It wasn't cheap at £12 for the pie and mash, but it was good quality so I didn't mind paying that sort of...
