Barn suite room, luxurious opulent accommodation, enormous bed! nothing too much trouble. 1st class breakfast served with bubbles- nice touch. Can be served within private garden or room or main house.

Lovely B and B with friendly hosts. The room was very clean and felt fresh (also great view). For a short break we had everything we needed and looked forward to getting back on an evening as the room was so comfortable. Breakfast was a nice touch with a good selection to suit most tastes served at the time you...

We stayed in the barn suite on Saturday with our 10 year old twin boys, on arrival Dave was extremely helpful in advising the suitable places to go with a young family for our evening meal. The barn suite was perfect for us and the kids loved stopping in a "barn". Lots of nice little touches including a small note...

This is a great place to spend some nights if you love the outdoors, countryside and fresh air. Run by a British-Chinese couple who also have an adorable daughter who shyly hid behind her dad when being introduced, this place was just what we needed after a hectic car ride all the way down from Edinburgh. It does have a...

Stayed there for 5 nights in August in an upstairs room with en-suite. Room and en suite had all amenities and was clean; however the room was very small which made it tight for suitcases, etc. This did not detract from the B&B as its location was great for Lake Windermere and surrounding attractions. We travelled widely during our stay...

Stayed here for 2 nights and found this place to be very pleasant. We were met by the owner who was very helpful to point us in the right direction of places to visit and for lunch. The house was beautiful including breakfast and we were very impressed. The owners were there if we needed them and made us feel...

Booked as a last minute after taken part in the 3 lakes rowing challenge. This room was just what we needed!! We were greeted by the host who carried my bags in for me and showed us to our room which was an amazing converted modern barn. When arrived the host could see that we were exhausted and wet through...

Lovely location so peaceful, nice clean room with stunning views although it was extremely small and the shower was also a squeeze as it was so small. Friendly staff and the owner was very polite Breakfast was average but over all a nice stay for the price. Would go back in the future with a different room choice.

Dear Guest The description of all of the rooms are accurate. The room choice you purchased was and the least cost and that being the smallest room . Had you chosen other - larger rooms at higher cost these would have provided both larger space and more amenities. Like every establishment we offer suits, executive rooms to standard rooms .

Approx 3-4 miles from Windermere, really lovely setting. We booked two double rooms but only for one night which was t a problem. Booked via booking.com so pay on arrival. Very large clean and bright rooms, nice bedding, lovely clean en-suites Breakfast was excellent with choice of all sorts, continental then hot food including Full English, Pancakes and Scrambled eggs...

We had booked immediately after our last visit, our aim was to go to the Hawkshead Show. Sadly it was cancelled due to rain!! However, this didnt stop us enjoying such a great place to stay. David & Carey as usual made us so welcome. We had a great few days here and amazingly, the rain stopped and we got...

It was great that you returned so soon after your first visit. Unfortunately the Hawkshead Show was cancelled due to rain however the day the show was to take place was bathed in sunshine . The tooth fairy called to deliver a cold bottle of white wine - to make your stay special after the disappointment of the show being...
