Recently returned from a week in the Lake District, we spent the first 3 nights at Heidi's Lodge in Grasmere. Loved the decor, a little bit quirky and different, spotlessly clean and could not fault the staff, nothing was to much trouble and the breakfast was excellent. We stayed in room 6, with the spiral staircase, it was a lovely... More

Just come back from another three day stay, second time this year & will be going back in November! Absolutely fabulous, as always. Lost count how many times hubby & I have stayed there. It is a truly wonderful b&b. The decor, cleanliness, the excellent breakfasts & Heidi & her staff are so warm & friendly. Can't rate it highly... More

My partner and myself were recommended heidi's by a friend and i am so glad i took her advice. We went for my birthday and could not have went to a nicer place. The cuteness and cleanilness were first class and would deinately go back and probably work my way through the other five rooms!

Our third stay here and yet again it was fabulous. A great little hotel with a warm, friendly atmosphere and helpful staff. Every room has an individual 'wow' factor and is immaculate. Location is excellent for exploring the Lake District or just walking from the door.

We stayed for 4 nights in the middle of July and although the weather not brilliant Heidi's Lodge more than made up for it. The staff were very welcoming and on arrival there was a complimentary tea or coffee plus 10% off any food we ate in the adjoining cafe during our stay. We had booked Room 4 which was... More

Heidis is a quaint cute b&b. Stayed in rm 3 which was smallish just room to walk around bed with little bench in alcove under window. Bathroom was big with big jacuzzi bath, which had lots of buttons which apparently did lots of things but which took a bit of mastering It also didn't have a splash tv in bathroom... More

We stayed in room 1 at Heidi's and would have loved to have been able to use the little table and chairs on the balcony but the rain wouldn't allow that. We were made very welcome by Heidi and her staff who were very attentive during our stay. High quality rooms, very comfortable and a super Lakeland breakfast to start... More

We spent last weekend at Heidi's, which is in the gorgeous village of Grasmere in the Lake District. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary with two of our closest friends who had stayed at Heidi's a few times. The bedrooms are absolutely lovely with many quirky qualities. We had a complimentary bottle of wine and a complimentary bottle of water,... More
