My family and I have just returned from a weekend stay at this hotel. We stayed in the Mews rooms 1-4. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Quite cold on arrival and took a little time to get warm, maybe the heating should be turned on prior to customers arrival?? My husband and brothers are both over 6 ft...

Visited with my partner and our dog - the hotel was perfect for what we needed. Nice room (bed a little uncomfortable if i'm being picky). There is a nice garden to let the dog out and plenty of car parking. It was nice to see dogs allowed in the lounge, though they are not allowed in the dining area...

We have stayed at the Dale Lodge Hotel on several occasions & were not disappointed. Our bedroom overlooked the beautiful Lakeland fells & even the mixed weather did not spoil our stay. Breakfast was delicious and set us up for a good walk in this scenic part of the country. We are looking forward to another return stay.

We loved staying at Dale Lodge! The food was delicious, the room was clean and comfy, the hotel was beautifully presented. Dale Lodge stood out from other hotels in the area as it had on-site evening entertainment whilst having a quiet area if that was wanted. Tweedies bar was brilliant, the beautiful food from the Lodge restaurant was served there...

Great stay at Dale Lodge, very warm welcome on checking in, was shown to room by the staff. Double room, a bit on the small side but very comfortable and clean, en-suite bathroom with shower over bath which was of good water pressure. Very comfortable lounge with log burners lit all day. Breakfast was included in price and was excellent,...

Lovely furnishings, cosy and has a lovely country feel to the hotel. Rooms very clean and beds comfortable with lovely furnishings. The shower room in our room was very modern, clean but small but we only stayed for one night so it was fine. Great breakfast in a beautiful large room. Twee dies bar is accessed at the side of...

Chose it for the seclusion and booked a standard room , which i then upgraded to mews . we spent 3 wonderful nights in Mews 4 as was the at the end of the apartments and private. Just what...

Dale Lodge Hotel is in a great location - right in the heart of Grasmere, but the decor is starting to look pretty tired, with chipped paintwork. The bedrooms are hardly spacious - in fact rather small, and the carpet was getting pretty threadbare. Stayed there in October and the room was cold - even with the heating on. On...

Spent 3 nights here and safe to say won't be staying again. We travel with our Border Collie and always check when we make a booking that our dog is accepted in whatever room we choose. Upon arrival we were told that the room that we had booked did not accept dogs. We asked to speak to the manager as...
