Stayed here for a birthday treat and wasn't disappointed. Staff are friendly rooms are a bit on the small side but nicely decorated. Bathroom was very small and difficult to move around in it .Food was good and not too badly priced. One big downside is the parking I had to pay £8.00 to park in a pay and display...

From check in to check out, no possible faults! Perfect room, brilliant food, fantastic price! The view from the room was brilliant! Lovely staff, can only say the robes felt a little stiff, but other than that it was a lovely night away! I'll be back for more no doubt! Scott 👍🏻

A nice room with plenty of space and a great view (117) the leisure facilities are also good with a pool and jacuzzi along with a sauna, it also has a steam room but this wasn't working, there is also a small gym with treadmills, cycles and weights. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and check in/out was swift...

My partner and I stayed here for a wedding at the local Church. The staff were incredibly accommodating lending us a room as we got ready for the ceremony hours before our room was available. The room itself was fantastic with a skylight looking out over the Lake District, HD TV and generously sized bathroom. The food on offer was...

An excellent location right in the centre of the village. We splashed out a little extra for a suite and our accommodation could only be described as luxurious. Our breakfasts and dinners were first class and all food was served very hot on hot plates. Restaurant prices for both food and wines were quite sensible. There is very comfortable lounge...

I saw photographs online of this hotel and hoped that it delivered what it said on the tin..... It exceeded just that! So many times I have been mislead by photographs but this time I was pleasantly suprised😀. We stayed in room 301 which was in the roof area. Not the biggest of rooms but very sweet and had the...

My husband have just returned from a 4 night stay at the Red Lion. All staff very helpful and friendly. Our room 107 had recently been redecorated and was very pleasant and always kept clean and fresh each day by housekeeping. A bit of a shame the bathroom hadn't had a bit of a face lift at the same time,...
