The hotel is in a great location and the rooms we booked were clean, functional and dog friendly just not very luxurious and with the decor a bit on the tired side I.e not as nice as a room in our own house or a premier inn / holiday inn express. I’d book it as a practical place to stay in a great village but wouldn’t necessarily regard it as somewhere I’d take my wife as a treat or for a romantic break as there are much nicer hotels in the lakes in this this price bracket for that sort of thing.
