We arrived the Friday before Christmas - was made to feel very welcome. The rooms are very clean and tidy. Staff couldn't do enough, very helpful. Christmas lunch was one of the best I've had. Would not hesitate in recommending Yewdale.

It was clean and very comfortable. Furnishing was good quality. Jeff...

Nice pub and restaurant. More along the lines of a hotel with bar, which is exactly what it is. It also has a seperate cafe but unfortunately when the cafe is closed you can't order a hot drink. Overall a friendly atmosphere.

The meals are served in the cafe which is cold both in temperature and atmosphere. It closes at 3 in the afternoon when there are lots of walkers returning and looking for re-energising and guests are arriving...

The Inn is full of character and well situated in the beautiful village of Coniston. Reserved 2 rooms (2&9) both clean, comfortable with lovely views. We booked a 2 night...
