Best B&B we have ever stayed in. Two bedroom studio apartment ideal for us as a couple and our adult daughter. We needed to be close to Cockermouth and usually stay in the town. Really glad we couldn't find anything for the night we wanted or we would never have found Grayonsides. Totally worth the few minutes drive in and... More

We stayed here with my in laws, who are not very mobile. They were accommodated in a ground floor room, which made their stay stress free and enjoyable. We stayed in a lovely double room in the main house, with lovely rural views. The bed was huge and comfortable with lovely linen. Breakfast was exceptional. All freshly cooked quality ingredients.... Stayed here after the floods in December 2015. Our house was flooded and the owners at Graysonside did everything they could to accommodate us and our parents. Excellent facilities, amazing breakfast and friendly and helpful hosts. It's in a superb location, right on the edge of the Lake District. Would definitely recommend.

Situated just outside Cockermouth we stayed there for 2 nights. Fantastic room (bedroom, sitting area and kitchen!) and the breakfast was excellent. Owners and staff were all very friendly. Will definitely stay again

We loved it at the Graysonside, our room was stunning (more of a suite/self contained apartment than a room), so clean and lovely and the hospitality was incredible. Breakfast was fantastic too. We will return again and again.

Graysonside was recommended to us by our very good local friend following the closure of Winder Hall last year. We have been making an annual trip to the Lakes (and Winder) every November for the last 10 years and the Hall’s closure, although not a total surprise, was a bit of a blow. However, what a wonderful alternative Graysonside was.... More

Beautiful surrounds, nice open patio area and comfortable apartment rooms. Excellent, fresh and delicious breakfast made from top quality local produce I.e. Cumberland sausages. 5 mins from Cockermouth. One of the best B&Bs I've stayed in!

Lovely room, wonderful breakfasts, Donna's impeccable service with a lovely smile at breakfast all made for a very pleasant week. Jenettes kindness in using her contacts to arrange a suprise treat for our 14 year old son, going above and beyond what was expected to ensure our stay was perfect. Well done all at Graysonside, you should be very proud.

We spent a very enjoyable long weekend at Graysonside for a wedding in nearby Lorton. Rooms are lovely, we had room 4 which has corner views. Room was good size and really well equipped with hairdryer, kettle and lovely products in the bathroom ( white company), super fluffy towels. Fantastic breakfasts, can recommend the smoked salmon and scrambled egg. All... More

Well this is the second time of staying at the Graysonside and as before it was lovely. The first time we stayed we stopped in the suite room/ room 9. This was a lovely room with a comfy lounge area which was lovely to relax in after a busy day. The shower room was outstanding, it was huge and very... More
