A one night stay on a whistle stop trip to the Lakes. Room was comfortable and clean. En suite appeared to have been added later as it was an oldish building but it was adequate for my needs. Friendly family run. Good breakfast. Excellent location with parking.

Plenty of parking and a short walk into Ambleside. We had a large room adjacent to the front door which banged shut as guests came in and out. The room was pleasant, with good en-suite facilities. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The guest lounge was a bonus.
