Wanted to stay here for a while, but always booked up, finally been and would stay again. Housekeeping lady is wonderful and friendly, comfortable rooms and nice shower. Cold bathroom though. 8.5/10. Fun place not ideal for kids to stay as nothing for them to do, apart from running up and down the corridor at 7am!!! Parents obviously have no...

Stayed over night for a birthday treat with the wife, room was a good size with a shower in the bathroom and a coffee machine in the room aswell as a colour TV, precook a table if you do stay as it can get quite busy as the food is superb. The only odd thing is the serving of larger...

The wife and I had a one night escape without the kids and decided to visit Tunbridge Wells where we had been a couple of times before. We wanted to stay at a different hotel from the previous visits and after reading the positive reviews on TripAdvisor I booked The Smith and Western. The service was excellent. Our room was...

Had never visited this chain before. With 3 birthdays to celebrate in half term and my husbands love of all things country booked by phone and stated 3 birthdays in party of five. Food ok, not much difference to any Harvester, except the top heavy prices.(£18 for a double burger). Despite mentioning birthdays to the server, a 50th 18th and...

Stayed here back in November and the whole theme really works. Good quality rooms with everything you would need. Downstairs the saloon bar is really fun and the food was great too. Lovely helpful staff as well. Would definitely stay again :-).

This was a hotel my partner had on a list of places she’d always wanted to stay so we were looking forward to it. The look of the hotel is right up my street, they’ve done a great job. The rooms were also tastefully decorated – not over the top, just right. They were also clean which is a big...

Rooms are nicely decorated and very comfortable. The restaurant downstairs serves delicious Mexican food and also great steaks. Restaurant was very busy with Christmas parties but food and service was still very good. There is no lobby or front desk. You have to use the restaurant entrance to enter the hotel and the end of the bar counter is where...

Fabulously decorated with an attention to detail. Extremely comfortable and quiet rooms with great furnishings. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I absolutely loved my stay here and had a great time. The saddle bar stools are an extra nice touch. We had a tasty breakfast and I'd recommend this hotel to anyone.

This is probably be worst service we have experienced in Tunbridge Wells - from start to finish. I'll keep it short and sweet! We booked a table, and still had over an hour wait!! With a an explanation that they allow an hour and half per table and the table they have assigned to us has overstayed by an extra...
