Just had an excellent 2 day visit to Ramsgate staying in the Pegwell Bay Hotel, Thorley Taverns. Will definitely be back. Superb location, top class venue right on the seafront. Staff were very friendly and professional and went out of there way to look after us ( Thank you Late Night George - also known as Alan !! ) Thanks...

Stayed for a friends wedding , we paid extra for a bay room , unfortunately we didn't realise that meant a parking bay we thought it meant the beautiful bay surround the hotel , the room was like a sauna we turned all the heating off and had to open the window and have the fan on it was unbearable...

This hotel looks beautiful. It maintains it's original character from years gone by, and the interior has been updated to high standards without losing any charm. Lovely clean rooms. Dining area is stunning with all the original dark wood features. Helpful polite staff who can't do enough for you. A pleasure to stay there.

So, I've given this a 5* rating, but if you book it, remember, its just a 3* hotel- however, it is a very good one. The location was great for us, very quiet, overlooking the bay- plenty of space in the free car park. It's not far from the town centre and port, we could drive there in a few...

This is our third visit to this hotel. Each time the stay has been very comfortable and the views from the sea view rooms are amazing. The comfort levels in the room are very high. The bathroom is spotlessly clean and the shower is probably the most powerful I have ever used. The breakfast in the morning is delicious and...

I had a lovely stay at the Pegwell Bay, the staff were very helpful, even when I arrived back particularly late there was still someone at the desk to welcome me. Lovely clean room, nice and quiet, couldn't ask for more. Thank you!

We held our 30th Wedding anniversary event in the Clifton Suite of the hotel Saturday. It was superb. The guests commented on the lovely décor, the fabulous food and the excellent staff. Nothing was too much trouble for any member of staff. There was mountains of great quality food and the DJ playing exactly what we requested. In addition, several...

Smashing hotel, which although was quite big felt small and cosy. Friendly helpful staff. The room was perfect for our needs, comfy bed, clean, decent size bathroom and beautiful views. The room did get very warm but better than being cold. Would stay here again.
