We often stay at the Pegwell Bay Hotel. The books are basic and clean and the hotel has a beautiful view over Pegwell Bay and is close to Ramsgate Harbour. We had dinner in the newly refurbished Stanley Gray Opposite the hotel and the food selection was good but not fancy. Breakfast is always very tasty served in their function...

My family have holidayed in Pegwell Bay, Ramsgate since my mother was a child. In those days it was a home for elderly gentlemen. It has been a hotel for sometime now. Refurbished but keeping a lot of the original features. The rooms are not large but are very clean and comfortable and the shower rooms are beautifully tiled. You...

Went to a 70th birthday party and stayed overnight. The Hotel put on a great birthday party. The decorations were great and the food delicious pork terrine, roast beef and the trimmings followed by cheese and biscuits. They look after their beer well. Breakfast was in the pub over the road also owned by the hotel. Great day out in...

Excellent Bar overlooking the sea with terrace seating, I visited on a lovely winters day and the views from the terrace seeing the Sunset was stunning. Traditional English quality food at reasonable prices was tasty, the service from all the staff could not be faulted. The room was clean and well presented and with the benefit of a sea view.

My Daughters and I stayed for 5 days whilst visiting friends and family in the area. The hotel staff were welcoming and we were looked after well. Apart from a little incident on the bill (in my favor until corrected) our stay was very good. The services were what you would expect from a 3 star hotel. Breakfast was good....

Clean, warm, very well managed, friendly and helpful staff. Retro but well maintained and good value. Phone direct for best value and offers not on the websites. It's astonishing from the outside. It's like a location for a Tim Burton film. Also has reception rooms and sea views so a good wedding venue.

We stayed overnight on a room only basis. We only saw the reception, corridor and our room so can make no comment on the facilities. If like us its just somewhere to sleep then its adequate. The lighting system is worked by card and the corridor lights go out after a short time so be prepared to look ahead for the...

We decided to go to Ramsgate on a whim and chose this hotel because of the good reviews, we were not disappointed ! Lovely bedroom, very clean and warm, the bathroom was the same, spotless with a nice big radiator.Breakfast was very good, lots of choice, and the dining room was beautiful with dark wood features and overlooked the sea....
