Just back from a fabulous weekends stay at the Royal Harbour Hotel in Ramsgate. Beautiful harbour views, comfy room and bed, fabulous breakfasts, fantastic staff and a great trip down memory lane with the vinyl records in the lounge on Saturday evening. A really wonderful experience that I would definitely repeat. A special thanks to Gareth and Jonny for making...

We arrived Saturday afternoon just before check in , left bags with the helpful young lady on reception and off we went into Ramsgate. After reading mixed reviews I was a bit sceptical on what we would get. The parking is difficult if you want to park right outside, but we parked up one of the side streets, not a...

Great location, close to the town but in a quiet area, wonderful sea views, very quaint atmosphere created in the hotel, very helpful staff who make you feel so much at home. Loved the honesty bar, the complimentary cheese and biscuits, plus the teas and coffee. The rooms, certainly ours was small but manageable, but what is really a disappointment...

Loved the decor! Lots of interesting art and the room was perfect for our 1 night stay. Very friendly service, liked it a lot. If I ever went back to Ramsgate I would stay here again. Breakfast was nice - much needed after a wedding hangover!

Nice non-corporate hotel. Friendly staff. If you're used to faceless corporate hotels then you might need to adjust your attitude. Our room was *very* small and the bathroom smaller still. Great view though. Breakfast was good, but a little chaotic with guests waiting for tables and a distinct lack of crockery (waiter was almost standing over us to snatch plates...

We stayed at the Royal Harbour for 2 nights. As we extended our original stay we changed rooms. Both rooms were on the upper deck and both were comfortable. The second one was small but had wonderful views across the harbour. We found the staff friendly and very helpful indeed. The hotel is very quirky. I think that they should...

We loved our experience - from start to end. Staff so friendly and helpful, the common areas are so quirky, fun and interesting - it was like being in an antiques or curious shop with so much to look at, and the glorious art work throughout the house was fantastic. We loved the honesty bar, and the use of the...

I booked an upper deck sea view double bedded room and thoroughly enjoyed my night at the hotel. The view of Ramsgate harbour was excellent. The room was very well apppointed and even had a free nespresso coffee making machine and complimentary bottled water. The bed was excellent with very comfortable pillows. There isn't a lift so people staying on...

Cosy, great selection of art on walls, lots of books, very comfortable public rooms. The breakfast was exceptional. Front facing rooms have great views of the harbour. Parking is challenging - worth paying the extra to back out back but you have to leave keys. worth noting that there is no lift and steep stairs (hotel makes this quite clear).

This is a super little quaint hotel. Room 8 was compact but had everything you needed and the view was great. The bed was very comfy, fixtures and fittings were good quality. The breakfast was amazing with absolutely everything anyone could want. There is free parking outside if you are lucky to get a space and there is some parking...
