Fantastic B&B we stayed here as it is so near to Kent cricket ground. Hosts were so helpful before we had even checked in.Our room was so comfortable with everything we required and more. Extras were a nice little touch.. Breakfast was superb with such a choice. Unfortunately we could only stay one night as my husband had health issues...

Just spent two nights at Sylvan Cottage. It was clean, comfortable with a lovely breakfast. The gorgeous extra touches made such a difference; bottle of mineral water, fresh fruit, and a little jar of chocolate biscuits in the rooms. Even a small packet of sweets in the lovely room our two boys had next door. Other little extra's included a...

Tried to enquire regarding making quite a substantial booking for a wedding party as this accommodation is recommended by the venue. However, the owner is quite possibly the rudest person I've ever encountered. The answers given to my questions were not only blunt but incorrect, suggesting I was in the wrong when actually she did not hear my question as...

My daughter tried to enquire about about a stay here for multiple people for her wedding next year. The lady answering the telephone was very rude from the start and unhelpful. Resulting in terminating the call . Why would an owner of a B and B be so inarticulate and rude. We will let our friends and family know to...

I emailed the owner to find out about their T&Cs before making a booking - namely with regards to deposits and refunds, due to be being stung recently after an illness. This was their reply: "Morning again, We don't do 'provisional' 'cancel at the last minute' bookings, if that is what you are asking. However if we get adequate notice,...

Warm, clean and very accommodating hosts. The room was a good size and the breakfast was plentiful The accommodation is very close to Winter Barns, which made this an ideal choice of location when staying overnight for a wedding reception.

Fantastic place, great secure motorbike parking, comfortable room and welcoming owners. Jackie went so far out of her way to accommodate us, she was amazing! My husband was taken to hospital by ambulance the day we were due to stay, leaving me in Whitstable with 2 motorbikes, 2 lids and luggage, with no idea where the B&B was. AA didn't...

I felt compelled to write a review with the hope that some of my feedback may be taken on board. Firstly, room was absolutely beautiful and the house itself lovely. Secondly, breakfast was cooked to a very high standard. Cottage too far away from Canterbury if you are planning on easily visiting the sites/shops. Now to the main issue, our...

We have stayed at the cottage a couple of times. In fact my nervous husband stayed there the night before our wedding with the nervous groomsmen. Lovely living space. Very high quality breakfast. Lovely owners. My husband says it's a home from home
