On the doorstep of the town centre and cathedral. Literally 3 mins walk to high street. Very basic room, no bedside tables , not much storage but very clean and comfortable. Staff great and very helpful. Breakfast good and tasty.

Stayed over for a Saturday night, picked due to location as very close to main high street etc. Rooms comfortable but not the largest, but was very clean. Staff very friendly. Only downside was car park was full so had to use public pay and display which costs £1.20 per hour (free between 9am to 8am though and very close)...

We enjoyed and excellent stay here for the second time in twelve months. The standards had been maintained and staff were quietly welcoming as they went about their business. The property itself is set within small grounds on the edge of the city centre which is within 2 mins walking distance. Unfortunately parking is extremely limited - not entirely surprising...

We stayed in the Central Travelodge in Canterbury and although the hotel didn't have much atmosphere the location and price more than made up for it. The room was warm, clean and comfortable and the ability to just walk across the road from the hotel and end up in the High Street was ideal and made our short stay more...

Had a fantastic night's sleep, large comfortable bed, brilliant blackout curtains, spacious room with everything that you would need. The staff were very accommodating and helpful and responded to my queries straight away with very satisfactory results. Extremely well situated to the City. I can't wait go go back.

Beware if travelling alone, you might end up in the box room with a single bed you daren't turn over in, a "desk" only a small child can sit at and a WC that requires you to squeeze between the wall and sink to get at. Oh and bring your thermals as the 1930's single glazing and tiny electric heater...

The staff here were lovely, the location brilliant for Canterbury and the price OK. There was no parking left when we arrived at 5pm which was a nightmare. We were there for my Work Christmas Night and my husband was going to stay in the room and join us later for a drink, however after being unable to park had...

Stayed on a Saturday night. Arrived at 1130 and was given room straight away (booked early check in). No lift so if you can't climb stairs make sure you request a ground floor room. Nice room at the end of the corridor. Only thing was that the room was a bit small. But we were only there to sleep. Nice...
