Everything about the hotel was very good except that the bathroom had a very horrible smell but overall I enjoyed my stay. The beds were very comfortable. Had a really good nice sleep. Also the room was very clean!

Warm welcome from reception staff on arrival. Clean and comfortable room with very comfortable mattress! Breakfast in clean and tidy restaurant and all cooked and presented superbly. Excellent Manager who is most welcoming. Two minute walk to centre of town/Cathedral etc. Lots of great restaurants both branded and bespoke as well as decent pubs etc. Loads of students around so...

I had a comfortable stay here at The Chaucer and it was close to all the amenities Canterbury has to offer. The staff were friendly and helpful, changing my room to a ground floor room upon my last minute request and the room was warm and comfortable. The king size bed was so comfortable I overslept missing breakfast! The shower...

Canterbury Chaucer Travelodge is ideally located. For the price it is definitely value for money. Clean rooms, great location and amazing service, could not fault it in the slightest. Gemma was brilliant at check-in and Chris and Amanda on the bar couldn't have been more helpful and served us some brilliant food. Would 100% recommend!

Canterbury is one of my favourite Cities in the UK. A wonderful, somewhat dominating Cathederal, old buildings and a pleasant shopping environment make it immediately attractive. The Hotel is very centrally situated and a 5 minute walk (though we were in formal wear and took a taxi) to the Mayor's Ball in one of the Cathederal Buildings in the Grounds....

It's a Travelodge so you know what you're getting. Clean room, comfortable bed (less so the pillows), pleasant staff but THIN WALLS! I am a diabetic and for what I could eat from the menu it wasn't good value. Just some tweaks like unsweetened ceraels, marmite for toast etc would make a big difference.

Helpful staff. Good location and such value for money. No complaints at all. Have stayed here before and am never disappointed. The facilities are good. Parking outside is a bonus in a city centre. Clean and comfortable hotel. Good value.
