Great place to stay. Ample off road parking. I have a Harley Davidson motorbike and they let me park it in a garage. Beautiful beer garden, swimming pool. Great selection for breakfast. It's just outside the ring road. Very convenient to access the city and less noise.

Our 3 night stay was disappointing given a 4 1/2 star average on TripAdvisor. Our first choice had been the Cathedral Lodge which was fully booked for a wedding. We chose The Canterbury Hotel because of the rating on TripAdvisor and had not noted the 3 star rating of the hotel itself. The 3 stars is the correct rating for...

Lovely and helpful staff. Very comfortable room with everything I needed. Wonderful garden space. It's @ a 10-15 minute walk to the town center but that's a good thing for quiet nights and a good nights sleep. I'd definitely go back.

The hotel has more of a B&B feel which was really nice. Our room was on the top floor of the main building, the room itself was lovely with a 4 poster bed. The only downside was there was only a bath but no shower. It was a lovely free standing bath but it took a long time to fill...

We're a family of 6 plus 1 dog and we stayed for one night as part of our family trip around Kent during the Easter hols. We chose it because it's pet-friendly and our boarder collie dog could come with us. My wife and I had a lovely double room whilst our 4 children plus dog stayed in a family...

Our two night stay in this hotel didn't exactly get off to a good start. On arrival we were shown to our room by a pleasant member of staff only to find that the headboard was wonky (it had come away from the rest of the bed and broken), the hinges off one of the cupboards was broken, a door...

I booked this for 4 nights after reading some reviews and was really looking forward to staying here. It is in a good location, easy to find with a car park....although it is small with tight spaces but I managed. The staff were reallly friendly but I was very disappointed to find out that they do not do evening meals....

I feel bad giving this place a bad review, since the staff were very nice and always doing their best. However, they cannot help with the fact that the hotel has some basic structural problems. The room itself didn't look bad, although it was a bit cluttered with too much furniture and not a lot of space around the beds....

Great room with a very comfortable four poster bed. All amenities at hand. Breakfast great. Staff very Attentive and friendly. Car parking difficult as the car park is quite tight.I have a large Merc but a mini or small family saloon would still find it tight.
