We stayed here for a weekend break whilst returning our son to Kent Uni. Perfectly placed, just a stroll from the main city area but on the right side to access the Uni. Everything was faultless from the comfortable, cosy stable room to the plentiful, fresh breakfast. We loved the little library and games area and although we didn't have...

Privately owned and personal service in a period building. Best location with parking included. Suites are decent and stable rooms opening to the garden quite fine. Honesty bar is trendies with great local beers and fair selection of wines, and some spirits. Breakfast is great quality and just a pity that it finishes much earlier than other places nearby. That...

A really lovely place made special by Sandy and her staff, you really feel cosy as soon as you step through the door, we stayed in the stable block rooms which were very inviting, everything you need for a nice break away, tea and coffee making facilities in room. The breakfast was amazing. Next time we visit we will try...

Stayed at the House of Agnes with other relatives in order to celebrate a birthday. Three couples in total and we all had a good stay. this is a great place to relax and close to the centre of Canterbury. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good also. Quintessentially Dickensian English throughout.

We stayed at this beautiful hotel for our wedding anniversary just before Christmas, the staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble. They very kindly left a beautiful card and some chocolates in our room for us which was a lovely surprise. The rooms were spacious clean and had everything you would need, tea/coffee, biscuits, toiletries and a hairdryer. Breakfast...

Our room "Paris" was lovely with well fitted en-suite. Very spacious and nicely furnished. It's worth the extra money for the space. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful and we shown around the moment we arrived. The lounge with honesty bar is a nice touch. City centre convenience with the added bonus of car parking.

My husband and I stayed in the Tokyo room for our 20th wedding anniversary. My initial contact was with 'Anna' who kindly showed me all the rooms a few weeks before I booked. We chose the Tokyo because it also had a bath. But all the rooms are gorgeous and qwerky. We checked in at 11 am before the room...

Visited here 23rd November for one night for my son's graduation would have stayed 2 nights if was not booked up. Of my 2 nights this hotel was the better one. Much closer to the centre just at the City entrance. Stayed in the stable room 3. About 6 stable rooms which were annexed to the hotel. Very nice indeed....
