Stayed at the yha for 2 days while in Canterbury. Conditions were great. Rooms were clean and spatious, everything was well presented and staff were very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the people you get to meet are great. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. It was a beautiful building with a beautiful wooden staircase. Everything was really clean and guests were friendly and I could have some nice chats in the kitchen in the evening and at breakfast time.

Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable rooms, hot showers and a nice lounge area to relax and meet people. The kitchen has everything you need and the entire hostel is kept super clean. The only thing is no lift to take heavy luggage up to the top of the hostel which is where girls' rooms are, however staff helped me up...

Upon checkin, I was a bit frustrated cause I was tired and no one in front desk. I guess they have hours of availability. Now I'm not aware of this! Now I'm not your typical backpacker traveler so I have a massive heavy suitcase which cannot put down in the basement to store how narrow the stairs for me to...

Dear Guest, Thank you for your feedback. We do have lockers on the basement level as this is where our 'day access' door is, if your belongings do not fit in our large lockers we are happy to store them free of charge in our locked reception room. My son and I spent a most enjoyable evening here when we were in Canterbury for a couple of days. There was free parking, accessibility to the City (15 minutes' walk), comfortable bunks, comfy lounge with bar and, next morning, a breakfast as good as you'll get anywhere for twice the price. The night was freezing but the welcome was...

Found the entire building furnished extremely well, all bathroom/wash facilities in top condition. Beds well maintained and comfortable, breakfast in the morning was top class too. Staff at breakfast room and reception both courteous, friendly and helpful. Location was a short distance by foot from city centre, which was convenient. Highly recommend this YHA to anyone for any length of...

I always enjoy YHA hostels and this was no exception. Clean, good facilities, and friendly staff. My room was very comfortable. It is a little bit outside the city centre but I managed to walk from the train station even with my suitcase. One thing to be aware of is that the reception is only open during certain hours so...

But Canterbury is probably one of the best yet, The staff are friendly helpful and enthusiastic and the hostel itself is clean tidy and well maintained. This hostel is one of the best - comfortable, well-planned, welcoming, inexpensive of course, and staffed by some really nice people. It's only 10 minutes' walk from the Cathedral and city centre. I found the rooms to be clean, quiet and comfortable. The rooms have large lockers in to safely stow away your belongings (there wasn't one for every bed in my dorm 2:1) Self-catering facilities are available on the lower floor and breakfast is provided at a cost (I self-catered). There are shops and takeaways nearby; within walking distance and the...
