Just arrived home from a fantastic night in a superb and unique hotel. These guys are serious about their guests enjoyment and comfort. We stayed in the Hamilton room adorned with historic memorabilia and a chandelier. Such a comfy bed and a characterful bathroom! We didn't dine in the pub on Saturday night but returned later in the evening to...

Another relaxing stay with good food and a lovely athmosphere. Close to the Cathedral and other amenaties. Love the place - it's just as I remember it as a teenager growing up in Winchester and a real slice of Winchester history.

The Wykeham Arms is located right in the historic heart of Winchester, just a short walk from the cathedral and other historic sites. Our huge king-bedded room with spacious modern bathroom was located in a 17th century building directly across the narrow street from the pub's entrance. We hadn't made a reservation at the pub for dinner, and they were...

In a great location and the interiors of the pub are charming and luxurious. Service was good. We did have issues with the following: Noise from the street Uncomfortable bed No hot water in showe Refused room service even though they provide it, due to functions being on Unfortunately even though I had high hopes, this hotel was not worth...

This was our second stay here and the standard was just as high as the first time . The pub is situated next to the cathedral and so you're in the very centre of what is a very compact city. Service is friendly and helpful; our room was spacious, spotless and very tastefully decorated. The milk, water and beer in...

Stayed for one night. Met by very friendly and helpful staff on arrival and shown to our room. Loved the touch of having free beer in the room's mini bar. Ate dinner in the dog friendly bar - great food, great beer, great atmosphere. The sort of pub that you'd want to spend much more time in. Awoke after a...

Everything about my stay here was good- the room was great, staff were welcoming, bed was comfy, towels and hairdryer good, dinner was lovely and a good selection of gin. Right in the town centre so great location- limited parking.

I had very pleasant and comfortable three days in this historic building. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Food was great and staffs were kind and friendly. Bathroom was a little small but clean.

Tucked away around by the college, this pub is very interesting, with numerous quirky items, but the food was a bit disappointing and the staff mixed in their attitude. Our starters, for example, were expensive for what they were - though the mains were very enjoyable. We had two or three different people serving us and the young men were...

My partner and I wanted a romantic night away because we both work long hours, we had to choose mid way from where we are both based and the Wykeham Arms fitted the bill, plus I was aware of it due to having worked in Winchester for 5 years. When I arrived and was shown to the room I was...
