Stayed with fiancee visiting relatives for a couple of nights. Room was very warm - the fan in the bathroom was permanently on but thankfully shutting the bathroom door meant that the noise it made was minimal. Generally comfortable and the staff we dealt with were pleasant.

Dated decor and dirty bed linen (blood) which I don't believe was changed from the previous occupants gave an uncomfortable unclean and seedy feeling to the stay but as it was fairly late we had little option but to stay put. The young lad on reception was very apologetic and changed the bed linen himself but we would never stay...

I stay in lots of travelodges across the UK and to always know what to expect - large rooms, clean, tidy, tea making facilities, warm rooms and good showers. The only thing i dread is sleeping on the single pull out beds, which i kinda have become used to over time. However, on this particular occasion, the springs on the...

This hotel is on a main junction and there is constant traffic noise, also because of the street lights it is like daylight in your room throughout the night. The windows are rubbish as they did not help with the road noise, I could even hear peoples car stereos as they were waiting at the traffic lights. My room was...

We were on the 6th floor and the noise was terrible! You can hear all the traffic starting off from the traffic lights below, the people shouting (Saturday night drunks), and even the noise from the lift was unbearable.....not a place to chill out!

I made a last minute booking through the travel lodge site. It was easy too use, and with the Paypal option it made it easy to pay as well. Took me no more than 5 minutes to do which is always a plus in my book! The hotel itself was easy to find, very convenient with the location and the...

Stay in room 502 only if you want the experience of relaxing next to a constantly busy road five floor below you! However the views across to City are indeed splendid. Take £4 for your parking on site mind!
