Negative: No ironing board. I had to use a towel. No Handwash in the communal bathroom. I reported this several times during my stay. I purchased my own in the end. The bin in my room didn't get emptied once. Over the phone I was told that it was £35 per night. Upon arrival I was told it is £40.

Linden Guest House is a very nice and clean guesthouse. I spent there many weeks, as I was working in Southampton University. The owners are very friendly and helpful people, who made my staying comfortable. I would definitively recommend this place to anyone going to Southampton, given also its position very close to the railway station. Valerio

I am here working on a show at the Mayflower Theatre, and this B&B is perfect! Less than a 5 min walk! On arrival I couldn't get wifi signal in my room, and had no problems moving, and the had perfect signal! The first thing you notice is that it's spotlessly clean. At first I thought not having my own...

Stayed here for 2 nights in March 2013. The hosts were very welcoming. I could have no complaint about my room, which was very clean and came equipped with free kettle facilities and a TV. The guesthouse is also ideally located right in the heart of the city.

Very nice BnB in the Cultural District of Southampton. 5 minutes walk from plenty of shopping, restaurants, Titanic Exhibit and memorials, ancient walls, and so much more. The best production of a musical I have seen in a long time - Oliver at The Mayflower theater. For the price the best situated, best English breakfast, nicest place you could stay...

I had the best night's sleep in a long time here and the staff were very very helpful. Would recommend it if you wanted a good bed for the night.

This B & B is really good situated near the Central Station of Southampton and the shopping center. It´s clear, and its owner are very nice. Maybe the room isn´t big but it´s sufficient for resting one or two nights.

We stayed at the Linden Guest House a few years ago before setting off on a cruise, had a very peaceful stay in a quiet room. Plenty of local information was available, as well as menus for take out which was allowed in the rooms. The breakfast was fantastic, and overall it was very good value for money, would stay...
