I stayed at the Amberley for several weeks, and all I can say is, it was a home from home. Eliana and the staff were the ideal hosts. I was looking for long term accommodation and Eliana was very helpful. The room was cleaned every day, and must say the location was spot on, as I was walking distance from...

I was recommended this great place by a colleague who had stayed previously and he was absolutely right. I found Amberley Guest House a very warm and welcoming guest house. Eliana and Peter do their best in order to make your stay pleasant and relaxing. I needed to find accommodation for a rather long period of time, 7 weeks in...

We stayed for 1 night last week. We were made to feel very welcome by Eliana and Peter. On arrival we were offered a cup of tea before any of the formalities were completed. Eliana was also on hand to help us find somewhere to eat or allow us to use her facilities for a takeaway. Eliana had made sure...

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Amberley Guest House whilst visiting a friend who happens to live a few doors down the road from it. I was recommended Amberley lodge guest house by a family member who had previously stayed here and was delighted by their quality, cleanliness and their warm and loving atmosphere. Prior to this we booked in for a 6 month stay. We instantly feel in love with the home and its owners. Not only are Eliana and Peter the bnb owners...

If you are looking to feel home away from home this is the place for you. Both owners are extremely nice and welcoming, and every guest feels as if they are coming in to a warm Italian home. The breakfast is good with a nice selection of cold and hot options are available. The rooms are decorated as mom would,...

I stayed at Amberley Guest House for 1 month due to a visiting period at the University of Southampton. Eliana and Peter have always been very friendly and helpful. When my family joined me for two weeks (I have two children aged 2 and 5), it was like being at home! The rooms, bathrooms and the common areas are clean...

“The room I had was at the front and was really noisy as it faced a a main road and a set of traffic lights so lots of cars slowing down and speeding up. If you need quiet you will have to let the owner know in advance.”

“We were in a ground floor room at the front (possibly 1A). Despite being close to a busy road, it was actually very quiet in the room and we weren't disturbed by traffic at all. I am not a great sleeper, so this was quite important for me!”
