Very clean and tidy with good facilities. Breakfast was ok but no second knife to butter the toast and no milk on the table for tea/coffee, had to go to the main table for the big jug. Little things but they matter. Staff were pleasant. It's on a main road but not too noisy at night. Restaurants etc within easy... More

Over priced, noises and a simplistic breakfast. Would not accept Amex and payment via booking.com. On a busy road and overpriced. TripAdvisor wants more words, but really there is nothing more to say.

Arrived to find hotel didn't know anything about me.... not their fault as I booked through booking.com and the info hadn't come through although nearly 24 hours after booking... however not the best welcome. Room was great - 3 rooms in fact: bedroom, large bathroom and long hallway/lounge with sofa, all clean and nicely furnished. Bed was comfy and shower... More

Although the location is handy for the local bus (going to the Historic Dockyard or the trains) and for a variety of eating places, we were very disappointed with this B&B. The welcome was prompt and friendly and breakfast was served quickly and was adequate but our room was not up to expectation. The toilet had a very poor flush... More

I stayed here for three nights. The room was a big twin and the en suite was also a good size and and had free shampoo and shower gel. The room was clean and had a good hospitality tray with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits, which was nice. Only complaint was there was no decaff coffee which I would... More

Very nice b&b. Our room was spacious, clean and tidy. Coffees and teas were provided in the room, as well as some soap and shampoo. Breakfast is included and you can order an English breakfast as well as cereals and fruit. The B&B also offers car spaces for visitors. Very good experience, recommended if you're visiting Portsmouth.

When arriving at the guest house no one was at home!!! We waited 45 minutes outside the house and finally managed to contact someone as the phone number of the guest house was disconnected! The lady I spoke to on the phone quickly sent her friend round to let us in! We were then told that the company we booked... More

We had previously stayed here 4yrs prior to our recent visit , and at that time it was generally worn and a bit frayed around the edges but clean and with a reasonably comfortable environment. As we were again revisiting the Portsmouth dock yard we thought we would stay there again. This was a vast mistake. The place was visibly... More

We were apprehensive as we drove up, but the room was clean and adequate for a one night stay. I don't think we could have stayed any longer as I got very little sleep because of traffic noise (no double glazing). The carpet was stained and in need of replacement. We chose to have a breakfast, but wished we hadn't.... More

On site free parking for all 6 rooms. Unable to get through to B&B when trying to ring them as number stated is disconnected the same number is on the sign outside the B&B so not great for this reason unable to arrange any thing before hand about checking in. Took quite a while to answer front door on arrival... More
