Arrived late, friendly welcome. Found spot in secure car park, greeted by staff, who told me he was about to lock the back door. Room clean and presentable. All in all , pretty good for a city budget hotel.

Stayed here for one night, as we were going to a show at the theatre. We weren't expecting a lot, to be honest, given that the price was only £31.00 through booking.com; and we actually weren't that fussed as it was only for one night. Boy were we surprised! It was fantastic! Attentive, friendly helpful staff, fantastic room, amazingly clean...

Plenty of parking, decent sized lounge and professional and polite staff make this a great location for a business meeting. The coffee is good quality and the waitresses go out of their way to be of help. Clearly a well managed hotel.

Stayed at this hotel for one night as I was in the area on business. Rooms clean and tidy, the bathroom was a little cramped although it had everything you would need. I ate in the bar where the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was good too. Breakfast was a bit busy even at 645am when I was...

Modern rooms that make the most of available space. So small but does not feel cramped. All the staff have been polite and helpful making for a pleasant stay. Sweet potato chips were the highlight of the meal. Nachos as a starter could have done as a main course!!!! Overall nothing to complain about and would happily stay again.

We have stayed here before and would definitely do so again. Great location, lovely clean room and very friendly and approachable staff. The reviews on trip advisor need updating really as they are out of date.

Though an ugly building it has been modernised internally with 'funky' decor. The room was fine, but the bathroom was tiny, and a large/tall person might find it a bit of a squeeze. Breakfast was £9 extra and there was a good choice. Parking is also extra. The hotel is very central and it is a 10 min walk to...

We stayed here as it was very central. Easy 5-6 min walk from train station. 10-15min walk to Gunwharf Quay and also walkable (?) 30min to Fratton Park, although that was only one way when local station was very busy after match. Very nice receiption, lounge bar area and staff. Clean hotel and rooms. The only issue being the rooms...

Room to small for 2 Adults. Not enough storage. No hooks to hangs coats. No draws for odd and ends. No food available at midday. Pot of tea was cold. Was waken up at 3 and 5 in the morning, with people coming home and some still partying till 6pm.
