We stayed at Lords of the Manor in late September for a wedding. It is a beautiful Country House Hotel located in Upper Slaughter with a great proximity to lovely county walks and shops, etc. The building and gardens are lovely. The staff was great, the food excellent, and the wedding was done with great charm….the walk through the village...

We thought we would treat ourselves to a romantic break for Valentine’s day and decided to return to the Lords of the Manor for two nights on the 14h and 15th February Oh dear – a mistake. We arrived mid-afternoon, were taken to our room and told we had been upgraded – great! Having unpacked we fancied a cup of...

We stayed one night and had the 5 course set menu. The Hotel is very nice, comfortable in a tranquil setting. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were lovely with very comfortable beds, the food was excellent and the wine list given the Michelin star status had some reasonably priced offerings. Well worth a visit.

We spend a weekend with 10 other Couples in this lovely hotel. Very friendly Staff, excellent Food, but the waiters in the Restaurant need some more education. The excellence of the Chef needs better staf on the Floor.

Excellent hotel in a very pretty village. Our room overlooked the front garden with a slipper bath and separate shower. The afternoon tea with scones and cream, tasting menu in the evening and breakfast the next morning were all of the high standard you would expect from a Michelin restaurant. We would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel.

The hotel is beautiful and rich in history. On arrival the staff helped with luggage which then then carried it to the room. Overall the staff could not do enough to help. We stayed in a Manor Room which I have to say is one of the best hotel rooms that we have stayed in. The bed was huge and...

If you are looking for a venue for your wedding I can certainly recommend this venue. A beautiful Cotswold Manor house in gorgeous grounds with a Michelin starred restaurant. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the wedding was wonderful. Luxurious rooms and fine hospitality.

We stayed here years ago and my husband booked an overnight stay with dinner as a surprise for our 30th Wedding Anniversary. The welcome was warm and friendly, even a hand written note in our room - which was upgraded. The whole hotel is spotlessly clean, with a sort of 'unintentional shabby chic' element - the entire staff are helpful,...

My husband and I stayed for a Sunday night in a delightful room in the manor house, with lovely views of the gardens. Included was a five course tasting menu, but we upgraded to the seven course menu, we think that this was one of the best meals that we have ever tasted. Next morning we had a superb breakfast, with...
