Our friends were getting married in Tetbury and most of the wedding party were staying in this cute chic boutique hotel. First off - parking, the hotel doesn't have parking but there are a few small car parks around that you have to pay for or you could just park in the town's free long stay car park. We parked...

Was lovely to waste a couple hours but would have loved some conversations with the bar persons. Tried but very unsuccessful. Think this was because they didn't understand English. Even though they were in a very English county. Both barmen were foreign. Not at all what expected walking into such a lovely cotswold hotel.

The Ormond wasn't our first choice but turned out to be a very comfortable, clean and tidy hotel. Well placed in the centre of Tetbury it has a lot going for it. Staff were excellent and very helpful. The bar was always busy in the evenings giving an interesting ambiance.

Arriving at The Ormond we discovered there was no parking although this was not a real problem as there is on street parking (maximum of 1 hour) to offload cases with a pay & display car park around the corner. We arrived on the Saturday afternoon so and as the parking is free on a Sunday it cost £2 to...

The Ormond was chosen after TripAdvisor made suggestions. Good choice on a main street. A fine bar and pleasant dining area for breakfast. No "lift." Steep stairs. Our room had no view. In the summer months the pleasant outdoor dining area would be terrific. There are lots of stores in all directions and the old marketplace is the center of...

Excellent 2 nights stay. Room was lovely; fluffy towels; bed was comfy; excellent nights sleep. Breakfast was freshly cooked with lots of choice. Staff are very helpful. The hotel is situated in the heart of the village with lots of character and charm. An excellent location. I loved the bar area which we used on our first night. The fixtures...

Pros: Rooms not TOO noisy, spacious and nice decor in superior room, Breakfast included Cons: NO CAR PARK - Hotel is Like a maze! Morning staff not friendly - almost robotic I left my phone charger and was told there would be a £5 fee for them to send it on top of postage which seems a bit much! ****Update****...

First impressions of the hotel was great, nice location within the town although parking was a bit of a pain as they directed us to the station car park which although a fairly short 10 minute walk away it was up a steep hill depending on whether you were coming or going. The room was a long rectangular shape with...

We stayed at The Ormond for one night to celebrate my birthday. Really enjoyed our stay. Room was great albeit a little unusual, food was excellent and the staff were very helpful. The hotel has a really nice feel to it and the location is excellent right in the entire of Tetbury, which is a very interesting town to explore....

We arrived on a very cold day to find the room which we had booked had not had the heating turned on. An electric heater did not work. A fire exit door had been left open leaving the corridor very chilly and unwelcoming. The decor was very pretty but the legs on the bed stuck out and I caught my...
