Travellers' Choice
A charming hotel set in beautiful gardens and woodland - ideally located with excellent road links to M4 and M5 motorways. The hotel offers 44 individually furnished bedrooms and suites. There are two spacious lounges plus a choice of dining. The elegant Westonbirt Restaurant offers a fine selection of dishes utilising seasonal and local produce wherever possible. The informal menus in Jack Hare's are also seasonal and are served in traditional pub surroundings.

Stayed here for 3 days en route to Devon - a fabulous setting just 10mins drive from the town of Tetbury. Covid precautions were still in place, however did not lessen the fabulous customer service experience. The staff were incredibly professional, efficient, friendly with incredible interpersonal skills, particulary the team in the bar & dining room. Housekeeping chap was incredibly friendly & spoke highly of his experience working at this hotel We were allocated a lovely room next door to the laundry, which in the daytime can be quite noisy. As we had our 5m old puppy with us, who does nap in the day we asked to be moved .......situation handled wirh the utmost good manners & within 15mins we were in our new room - can't ask for any more than that. The food was great, the gin was greater & a brilliant choice of fine wines served up with a chat, a smile & a particularly high standard of attention to detail. Well done to the entire team offering a fantastic holiday experience to us at a particularly diffficult time for the hotel industry. Thank you ( my husband is a retired training manager for Marriott Hotel Group so we can be quite critical & have high expectations, however, nothing here to criticise at all )

Couldn’t attend a wedding due to catching Covid but Ian (manager) could not have been more helpful. I sent a video of my speech for the big day and Ian made sure it was shown at the appropriate time - awesome service and we will definitely stay when I can

We stayed here in June and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Covid protocols were in place and most people adhered to them. Our room was large with a view of the gardens, clean and quiet. As the weather was so nice,we had some drinks on the patio and enjoyed a walk around the grounds. The food and the service in the restaurant was excellent and the breakfast selection was very varied. We will certainly return.

We have just had a lovely two nights for o school reunion and I can’t praise the hotel enough. TheWestonbirt Suite we hired was lovely and the food was excellent especially the buffet on the first night. This was all exceptional given they had severe staff shortages but honoured our booking even though they had had to close the bar and restaurant to other guests. Everyone in our group throughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay so well done to Ross and his team as well as Claire with whom I had arranged the stay. So pleased we were finally able to go ahead after our original date in May 2020 was cancelled due to Covid.

Food in bar excellent but value for money in terms of accommodation was poor. We have a room with suposededly garden and patio - yes try as far as a patio but outlook 5 Mtrs away you looked at bases of conifer trees with dead bare branches overhanging patio dropping bits - don’t like bits falling in your tea or heads! To top it all mentioned it to management via the feedback and they can’t be bothered to reply. Customer service therefore is poor.
