The room is your standard premier inn, therefore you could be in any premier inn in any city. If that is a good or bad, I don't know! We had a newly renovated room which was nice. but there was quite a strong paint smell in the building. travel cot was supplied and was in good condition. We stayed two...

Travelled down to Stroud this weekend to see some friends.. This Premier inn is easy to find and is next to a 24hr tescos and opposite the lovely Stratford park which is really nice for a wander around! The hotel itself was nice, and the size of the room I had (I booked a twin) was VERY spacious! The beds...

Excellent place to stay, mostly refurbished (smell of paint in most areas). The rooms are large and the building has character. The breakfast was great, however at weekends the breakfast area is like a 'war zone' with many adults arriving with a number of children to max out as 'kids eat free'. The poor staff were rushed off their feet...

The hotel is in a great location about 0.5 miles from town centre. It has a good Brewers Fayre eating place for families which is very handy as most pubs in Stroud appear to be drinking holes not suitable for young families

Booking was very straightforward and the hotel was easy to find. It is undergoing refurbishment at the moment so the carpark space was less than usual but still adequate. The room was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was very good value.

Stayed at this old school Premier Inn recently when I was in town for a business meeting. The receptionist was very friendly and I was prompted to book a table for a meal as they were really busy. Table duly booked, I went down at the allotted time only to stand there being told by everyone who walked passed me...

This was our first ever stay in a Premier Inn on Sunday night 14th February 2016, we had travelled four hours to get to the hotel in order to go to a noon funeral the next day. We found the staff very helpful and on check in they warned us that the water would be going off about 10.30 am...

The hotel is only a few minutes walk from the town centre, and handy for exploring the Cotswolds, but in my opinion it is in need of updating asap. The staff were very friendly and absolutely lovely. The cleaning was slightly below the normal high standard of premier inn. There is a tesco next door if you need supplies. The...

We stayed over one night after a weekend at nearby Hawkwood College, so we could drive back to Sheffield in daylight. The place was clean and airy, and not too noisy given it was next to a busy road. The breakfast food was plentiful, as always at Premier Inns, hot and tasty, with friendly service throughout.

Well located chain hotel in Stroud which is an excellent place to base a few days in the South Cotswolds. Stroud itself is an interesting town with a attractive centre and some interesting buildings and history. A visit to National Trust Woodchester Park nearby is to be recommended.
