We chose this hotel to break our journey home as we were able to take advantage of the cheap room rates available and it seemed quite central to our journey. The building is not your average Premier Inn and whilst it could be argued that it has character, regular Premier Inn customers (like us) will miss some of the standard... More

We stayed here, arriving late, before a day at Cheltenham Races. The room was spacious except the bathroom as the door made it hard to access if someone was already in there. The beds are sublime! The hotel looks as though it needs some decoration. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and food was cooked... More

Compared with the newest or refurbished Premier Inns, the one at Stroud is rather old-fashioned; there is no lift, the entrance is a bit scruffy, the stairway rather narrow, the in room TV standalone and small instead of wall-mounted and large. However the staff were helpful, the bedroom was clean and the bed as comfortable as you expect from Premier.

I have stayed at the Premier Inn in Stroud twice now. I stay in a Premier Inn most weeks and use the branch in Stroud as a useful stepping stone when I travel from Yorkshire to Bristol. The best things about Premier Inn are the staff and hotel locations. In these aspects Stroud Premier Inn isn't a let down, especially... More

We were put into a room in the basement what a hovel. Place is filthy overall. On leaving the corridor was full of linen and when we asked if it could be moved talk about moan. This place seems to be the premier inn that time forgot. Though we had a meal with the family it was quite good and... More

Staff were exceptional, rooms and hotel clean and tidy. Tescos next door, and park opposite. Nice setting for a small hotel. We stayed here overnight on the trip to Slimbridge, which is only 30 mins away

Very helpful staff from receptionists to cleaners and breakfast staff in the Brewers fayre pub. The room was very clean, a very good size with a substantial bathroom. By comfy bed. All the things you need. It was a little working at the edges but would not hesitate to stay again

We stayed 2 nights as we were visiting friends. All the staff we dealt with were very friendly and helpful. The cooked to order breakfast was lovely, the buffet breakfast was ok, but whatever you asked for they got for you. The room was lovely and big and clean and tidy. The hotel was directly opposite a nice park and... More

Just a very uneventful stay. The room I stayed in was quite large by Premier Inn standards, but was a bit tired and not as good as some of the new refurbished/newer Premier Inn's I have stayed at. There were a couple of water pipes in the room that must feed other rooms, they were quite audible in the morning... More

Came here for a family break to The Cotswolds, the hotel is a listed building and it is a lovely building. We stayed in a family room and it was the biggest room I've ever stayed in before, it was massive! Cold though and took ages to heat up and the telly was tiny and seemed so far away from... More
