Spent a Saturday night here for our annual Stow visit with mum and sisters. First time at this hotel as our usual venue now only allows stays of two nights at weekends. However, we were actually very pleased to have made the change - we had a fabulous stay - really lovely rooms, very pleasant staff, lovely dinner in the...

We visited yesterday whilst staying in broadway. Called in for a late lunch. All the staff really helpful and happy. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Food was excellent and especially enjoyed the hot toddy!! We will return. Thank you.

Stayed here for one night for our Anniversary in the Denman room. Very nice, king bed, exposed stone walls, good appointed bathroom. No view. Nothing is straight in the hotel so take your time moving about. Did not have dinner in the hotel, so cannot comment, but had a nightcap in the bar area and read papers, although busy a...

What a cool place! It's been hosting visitors for centuries. The floors are uneven, the stairs tilt, and the beams are exposed....I hope I look so good after 5 centuries. The room was fantastic with a modern and well appointed bath room. A charming place to hang with a couple sitting chairs. We enjoyed closing out an evening on the...

We visited for lunch and ordered a sausage panini and cheese with onion mayo ciabatta. Just awful. Sausage not cooked enough and skin so tough and chewy couldn't eat it. Staff tried to explain that's how sausages are cooked in this area.... rubbish. Ciabatta filled with a mix rather than cheese. Inedible. Complained but just told again that's how it's...

We booked The Kings Arms to experiance the old pub charm on offer in the Cotswold's area. We were not disappointed, the reception we recieved on check in was extremely friendly. The room was clean spacious and well furnished. The hotel has definite character. Impressed by the standard of food on offer. We have now experianced the charm a 500 year...

Over priced and very basic! I had the vegetarian pasta, which was dry and I could have easily knocked it up for my children's dinner in about 10 minutes. My boyfriend had the pot pie, again very disappointing. It lacked flavour and could have been made easier for a generic midweek dinner. Very disappointed all round. We won't be returning

We have just spent 2 nights at the Kngs Arms. Its a full of character and charm hotel. We were a party of 2 couples. We had 2 double rooms booked and our rooms were very nice. They were clean, comfortable and very wonky!! That is the charm. Its a very old building so dont go looking for straight lines....

Stayed for 4 nights and we enjoyed the experience. It's an old building complete with creaky floors and steep stairs. So definitely not for the unfit and no easy way to haul luggage up. We had help from James with ours. Honestly it's about expectations of what makes a good stay. The whole experience of the stairs and creaky floors...

We stayed in a two level room, bed upstairs and bath + sitting area on the first level. The upstairs was dark with only one small window, limited headroom and a bed that was short for a 5'-9" guy. Awkward to go downstairs to bath, especially in the middle of the night, with steep stairs and headroom near 5'. Love...
