Whilst visiting the Cotswolds, we ate here for lunch twice and again for an evening meal and each visit was incredible. For lunch we had sandwiches, chips, salad and soup at £8 each, which was all delicious, home-made, fresh and filling. Having visited a fair few places around Stow-on-the-Wold and surrounding areas, we found this to be a great value...

My wife and I had a 1 night stay and had a wonderful time . Food, service, and housekeeping was top class . We had our evening meal in the restaurant and the food was of a very high standard . The range of wines on the list was very extensive . We'll be coming back.

We were on a tour and the tour guide suggested this authentic pub. The building is interesting and has all of the unique old features. The food was very good especially the sandwiches, asparagus and cheese soufflé. The fish with the fish 'n chips was a bit bland and the steak was a bit tough and over cooked though had...

I was really looking forward to staying here, having read amazing reviews. I booked a standard room (the porch room was listed separately as the "smallest room" available). When I arrived and was placed in the porch room, I queried this straight away. The staff weren't very interested - it took them a while to serve me as they seemed...

Visited here on Friday, as a group. We were seated at the round table awesome. Very nice bread on the table. Highly recommend the house ale. I had the burger which was nice but lacking something else other than chips, I should of gone for the steak. Deserts were huge highly recommend.

We only visited the quaint little pub while on a nice shopping trip. The entire town is full of history, great shopping and as with any Cotswold town, fantastic photos. I am sure the rooms are great but we just enjoyed a drink from the pub

Very surprised about how nice was Stow o t wold; it is a gem and The Porch House was also an good experience (less surprising as we knew it was nice already). Food was good and staff friendly and professional

Stayed here on a wet April weekend and very little negative points to raise. We stayed in room 1 which is the best room in the building so we're told. This room had everything you could wish for and the bathroom is up a set of stairs which includes a roll top bath. The main room is full of timber...

We recently stayed at The Porch House for four nights and I have to say it was superb! We arrived with our two dogs to be shown to a room opening out onto the courtyard, which was lovely , clean and fresh . BUT.... although we only have two small dogs this room is very small and proved quite challenging!...

Stayed one night on visit to the area in October 2015. Lovely property, well maintained and in the midst of of the high street. Bar area authentic pub and dining in restaurant was a delightful experience. Breakfast in AM kept us full till dinner that evening. Wish we could have stayed on a few more days.
