A little expensive you may think for a one night stay but seems to be the going rate for the area. The hotel is run with your comfort in mind and the staff are friendly and approachable as you may expect. I could not fault the service, food and cleanliness. Would I go back? Probably not because I prefer to...

It was a pleasure to welcome you and your friends to our hotel recently and we are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay. We understand that you may choose to stay at another property on your next Cotswold visit but perhaps we can look forward to welcoming you back to our Cutler's Restaurant which is also open to non-residents....

This hotel exceeded my expectations. We were warmly welcomed by very helpful staff and were shown to a comfortable room. Although the atmosphere was relaxed and informal, the service throughout the hotel was excellent. Our evening meal and breakfast in Cutlers restaurant were delicious. Can't fault it.

We stayed on Saturday night and had dinner in the restaurant. We booked a suite which was very well presented and immaculately clean, which also goes for the whole hotel. Everywhere is pristine! I can echo all the positive comments with regard to the staff, and the dinner was excellent and beautifully presented. Sensible but interesting wine list too. There...

This was our fourth stay at Number Four. I am pleased to report that the very high standards which delighted me on previous occasions still apply. The hotel is privately owned and overseen in a very hands on way by two sisters who are pleasant, polite and very concerned always for your wellbeing while you are their guest. This transmits...

We should have known something was amiss when we turned up. We were asked to pay up front for our stay, highly unusual! We had already had problems trying to get into the hotel, as when you arrive from the Stow direction there are no sign posts which way to go at the fork in the road, consequently we arrived...

Thank you for your review which we were expecting, as you did advise us on check out that you would be writing a 3 page bad review on TripAdvisor. Your room rate of £255.00 was inclusive of full English breakfast, 3 course dinner from the a la carte menu and VAT. It's unfortunate that you didn't raise any complaint during...

Booked this Hotel thinking it was in Stow (as the name suggests) but I really should have checked map. This Hotel is a characterless building with very small rooms with a view of a brickwall and adjacent to a busy road, and for me the only positive was a pretty good breakfast. Our duvet had blood stains on, and I...

Lovely setting, beautiful decor with attentive staff. Couldn't fault the roast beef cooked perfectly tender & rare, proper gravy and animal fat roasties. Every element on the plate couldn't be faulted. Only wish the plum tart hadn't hadn't a soggy bottom - Mary Berry would not be happy. Shame as the flavour was there.
