Have been there for a couple of days, room clean and nicely decorated, very cosy, staff really attentive, smiley and friendly, good breakfast. Great location, close to town centre. Would definitely recommend!

Great Hotel, central to where I needed to be for a friends wedding. It was easy access and simple to find and venture out with my three year old boy. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, friendly and kind to both me and my son who they respected and made it special for him (cutting sand which smaller, letting...

We just stayed the one night as we had tickets for the Bierkeller, which is within stumbling distance (fortunately). The check in was quick, paid upfront for the night, but had to revisit to activate the second key card. Room was basic but clean and everything worked & the bed was comfy. The decoration through the whole place was very...

Lots to like here-excellent central location, lovely welcoming staff, perfectly ok breakfast, bed was comfortable and we paid a fairly reasonable rate -£76 for the night including breakfast...but... be prepared for the fact that it looks like a minimally maintained 1960's tower block from the outside and is very very basic inside. Our room was clean but smelt of stale...

For the price, it is super value . It is clean, very friendly, the lady at breakfast was lovely. Perhaps the hotel is looking a bit tired , the bed creaked each time I turned over and hearing anyone entering or leaving their room was a tad annoying through out the night. All in all though great for a night...

To be fair it's an uninspiring entrance but it ticks almost every box for anyone wanting a convenient hotel in the town centre. Efficiently registered and the room was spacious and airy along with a large bathroom. Plenty of clean towels and extra pillows. A very adequate breakfast. Also spotted an ironing room on the second floor. Will certainly come...

Room was clean and comfortable; breakfast (cereals, juice, toast, butter, marmalade, coffee, sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, ...) met our expectations, Wifi worked without fuss. Noise from the street was a minor problem; this area of town is rowdier than it used to be...

I had a good stay on Saturday 18th March, the hotel was what I expected, the staff, Including the Deputy Manager Simon Dean, were very helpful, I would stay again! If I go to cheltenham and need a decently cheap hotel to stay in the centre, I will pick Big Sleep, it more than meets these requirements!
