We have visited many times as we live here. David and his Restaurant team were exceptional and went above and beyond to make our Al Fresco dining experience on the terrace amazing. Food was exquisite. The team work so hard to please. Lana is a star! What upsets me (more now than ever post pandemic) is how guests publicly complain about short delays in service. Now more than ever - with hospitality staff so rare - it’s a National problem - can some guests be kinder, patient, thoughtful and spare a moment for the staff, rather than your greedy selves! 2 ladies took David publicly to task yesterday (in front of all guests) and they did it loudly and rudely. David’s team need kindness and gratefulness - they are working so hard to make their guests experiences lovely. Ellenborough and the team - a perfect experience.

We stayed at Ellenborough Park for the first time last weekend. From check in to check out everything was first class. We thoroughly enjoyed the food in the restaurant and all of the outdoor facilities were excellent. We enjoyed our stay so much we have already booked a return visit.

We arrived no air con in our room.We had a drink outside before supper 5 heaters were out of gas. The food was average we received our dinner before our cocktail which we waited 20 mins for. Breakfast appalling, the poor Hungarian waitress who served us was so embarrassed my porridge went back as Luke warm, returned Luke warm and like water. My husbands bacon was like rubber, sausage and beans cold, tomato not cooked. We have eaten better breakfast at the service station. The last 2 evenings we have eaten in local restaurants The Wesley tonight was FANTASTIC . Management need to do something very soon. Will not be returning.

We were nervous based on recent reviews before our stay. We’re very glad we ignored them. The hotel and its grounds are beautiful. We encountered nothing but excellent service. We even had a few unique requests, and the staff not only followed through but then called to give us updates. First class. No real complaints. If this is your first post-lockdown trip, have some patience for the restaurant staff who are still working out all the new protocols and procedures. The only thing we observed was daily confusion about which food goes to which table. It was actually quite funny. Just relax and take in the beauty of the Cotswolds and the grounds as your food finds it way to you

My Wife and I had a fantastic four nights at the Ellenborough Park Hotel. Service was excellent, the food everything you would expect, the room and facilities were just outstanding. The Spa is beautiful (Book early) and the ambience and environment in and around this great old hotel is both relaxing and luxurious. The hotel was completely sold out during our stay and whilst the restaurant was busy and staff were under pressure, the management and staff throughout the hotel moved heaven and earth to make our stay a truly memorable occasion. Thank you to to the whole team!
